The WORKS Brain Flash is the factory ECU that has been reprogrammed with their proprietary FlashWORKS Programming System optimizing all applicable maps including the air/fuel ratios, ignition timing and calculated rev limit. WORKS is the very first and only U.S. company to reprogram the 2008 factory ECU. Their Software Engineers have been disassembling U.S. EVO VIII code since April '03 and have software control unparalleled in the industry.
With the Brain Flash P1, expect peak gains in HP and TQ, but more importantly a broad, usable, power curve with no other modifications that is very safe and reliable. In addition, expect smoother drivability and improved gas mileage. Nothing comes close to the plug-and-play performance and reliability of the WORKS Brain Flash. An excellent choice for those limited to stock boost under competition rules (i.e. SCCA Solo II).
The ECU can be reprogrammed back to stock by WORKS if necessary and, of course, is backed by their Factory Matched Warranty.
TECH TIP: This is a mail in flash that requires you to send your current ECU into WORKS. Turn around time is usually same day.
