Air Filter Replacement : Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII 03-05 GSR, MR, RS

Mitsubishi recommends replacing the air filter element every 15,000 miles or 15 months. 

1.) Unclamp the air cleaner cover.
 

2.) Remove the air filter element and vacuum out the bottom of the air cleaner box is necessary.

3.) Install a new air filter element, in the air filter box.

4.) When clamping the air filter cleaner cover in place, be sure that the cover is completely closed.
